Christmas morning 2014

christmas 2014
We spent a quiet day on Christmas. Leah is still watching her food to try to prevent further digestive problems, so we didn’t have a big Christmas dinner. We didn’t see relatives or friends until my brother, his wife, and his older son came down on Friday. We expect New Year’s Eve to be about the same.

Leah thinks this sounds depressing, but it really wasn’t.

  1. Love that photo! What a grand expanse of crepuscular rays. Beautiful.

Your Christmas sounds just like ours, and we have the same plan for New Years. We like it quiet and peaceful. When we did celebrate New Year’s Eve years ago, we always celebrated on eastern standard time. When it was midnight in New York and that ball dropped, we whooped and hollered and said farewell to the old and welcomed in the new.

  2. Robin — Thanks. I almost missed it, but Leah directed my attention to it, and I finished the dogs’ morning stroll around the house in time to catch it.
