We caught these three relaxing on the front walk a few days ago.
The Three Amigos — Sylvester in black, Zoe in white, and Smokey in gray.
They look pretty comfortable together here, but they aren’t really all that friendly with each other or with any of the other cats.
They do look comfortable hanging out together. A grand illusion!

When I read your first line and saw the image, Leah, I was jealous. Kali and I have never been companions to cats who got along with one another.
Then I continued to read that this is an image of a tense detente. Now I feel better.
Yes, these three do’t get along with any other cat. Chloe wants to get along with Zoe, but Zoe usually just jumps on her. Dusty wants to get along with Chloe, but Chloe always hisses and chases him away. Rusty, Dusty’s sister, just kind of floats around until Sylvester jumps on her.
